Hello and Welcome!
Today I'm sharing something easy, challenging, and fun!
Unscrambling Words from
our Bible Lesson!
My students love a challenge,
and what is better than a Bible lesson challenge!
This challenge can be done before class as students arrive,
or after the lesson so the students may be more familiar
with the words in the lesson.
Also, once the words are unscrambled,
it's fun to ask the students how each word was used
in the Bible lesson.
Using my computer,
I formatted each word of the wall title,
in upper- and lower-case letters,
"Unscramble Words from Today's Bible Lesson"
then the words I chose to scramble up
from our Bible lesson I formatted
in all capital letters to make it more challenging
for grades 5-6.
Each word had it's own color
which made it easier to keep each word separated.
Then made a key for myself so I could easily help
anyone who may have gotten stuck.
After printing, I cut out each letter
and stored them in a zip-lock with the key.
I LOVE using "Mickey" hands to draw attention
to places around our classroom!
(The "Mickey" hands were found on the internet.)
Because of space, I didn't use our rolling stand,
but ended up stapling our pocket chart to the wall
which worked out perfectly!
If you don't have a pocket chart, the table works GREAT!
The words I chose:
ungodly, tree, water, prosper, fruit,
righteous, chaff, stand, delight, sit,
walk, wind, night, sinner, blessed, and godly.
